I was looking at my J Wallpapers site and saw this absolutely beautiful D Grayman wallpaper by xsinfullytangyx and I just had to look the anime and manga up. I've read five chapters thus far in onemanga.com and I must say I am impressed, though I will have to admit that the plot got me spooked in some parts. I've also watched the first episode and was equally impressed with the Anime version.

I was reading the episode / manga chapters list and the way I understand it, Moore is just a minor character for episode 1. Am I correct? I would have wanted her to be a more major character, I believe her character could be a nice addition to the long-term story.

Anyway, in celebration of this new anime I've discovered (I know, I'm pathetic, a lot of you might be mentally hitting me on the head right now, asking me why the hell I didn't know of this anime sooner), I made two icons which I hope you guys will like, featuring the very kawaii  protagonist, Allen Walker ^_^ I love his background story, and how someone as innocent as he is holds the heavy responsibility of ridding the world of the akuma. He reminds me a tad of the Full Metal Alchemist kids, ne? Like a combination of both brothers.

I highly recommend you check out the d grayman wallpaper xsinfullytangyx made here:

Guess that's it for now :)

Saiunkoku Monogatari

I just finished watching the first season of Saiunkoku Monogatari and I must say, I am deeply impressed! I had my qualms about this show, because it reminded me too much of the bishounen-packed Chinese era anime, Fushigi Yuugi, and Shuurei also had the Miaka look going on. I was refreshingly surprised though when I saw just how much more spunk, talent and backbone Shuurei had compared to Miaka. And yet, in spite of her levelheadedness, Shuurei also showed a vulnerability that made her human and all the more like-able. I also enjoyed thoroughly the stories and plots that intertwined with each other, from political unrest to matters of the -ahem- heart ;)

I will be raving more about this show, and speaking about my opinions on matters of ships (emphasis on the plural form because as jealous as I am, I admit that Shuurei deserves all the bishounens of Saiunkoku, and she can probably assign each of them to one day of the week ;)) In the meantime, here are some icons I've made for the show. Hope you enjoy! And I'd love to get your comments but please be nice :)
