I was looking at my J Wallpapers site and saw this absolutely beautiful D Grayman wallpaper by xsinfullytangyx and I just had to look the anime and manga up. I've read five chapters thus far in onemanga.com and I must say I am impressed, though I will have to admit that the plot got me spooked in some parts. I've also watched the first episode and was equally impressed with the Anime version.
I was reading the episode / manga chapters list and the way I understand it, Moore is just a minor character for episode 1. Am I correct? I would have wanted her to be a more major character, I believe her character could be a nice addition to the long-term story.
Anyway, in celebration of this new anime I've discovered (I know, I'm pathetic, a lot of you might be mentally hitting me on the head right now, asking me why the hell I didn't know of this anime sooner), I made two icons which I hope you guys will like, featuring the very kawaii protagonist, Allen Walker ^_^ I love his background story, and how someone as innocent as he is holds the heavy responsibility of ridding the world of the akuma. He reminds me a tad of the Full Metal Alchemist kids, ne? Like a combination of both brothers.

I highly recommend you check out the d grayman wallpaper xsinfullytangyx made here:

I just finished watching the first season of Saiunkoku Monogatari and I must say, I am deeply impressed! I had my qualms about this show, because it reminded me too much of the bishounen-packed Chinese era anime, Fushigi Yuugi, and Shuurei also had the Miaka look going on. I was refreshingly surprised though when I saw just how much more spunk, talent and backbone Shuurei had compared to Miaka. And yet, in spite of her levelheadedness, Shuurei also showed a vulnerability that made her human and all the more like-able. I also enjoyed thoroughly the stories and plots that intertwined with each other, from political unrest to matters of the -ahem- heart ;)
I will be raving more about this show, and speaking about my opinions on matters of ships (emphasis on the plural form because as jealous as I am, I admit that Shuurei deserves all the bishounens of Saiunkoku, and she can probably assign each of them to one day of the week ;)) In the meantime, here are some icons I've made for the show. Hope you enjoy! And I'd love to get your comments but please be nice :)

If you're vacationing in Japan, better head over to Hitsujiyama park in Chichibu, west of Tokyo, where your eyes will revel in this sight:

This park is actually all-natural, and Moss Phlox flowers are responsible for the park's vivid colors.
Up close, this is what the flowers look like:

Hi! I'm sugoi and I've been a fan of Japanese entertainment since I was 13. The first thing I ever watched was Fushigi Yuugi, and I got hooked with the interesting plot and the wide display of bishounens. From there, I progressed to even better (in my opinion) animes. There was, of course, the widely popular Rurouni Kenshin, which captured the hearts of many anime and non-anime fans alike. And then there was Escaflowne, which personally became my #1 favorite anime. A lot of animes followed - from cutesy shows like Ultra Maniac, to deep, disturbing ones like X|1999. It seemed, and it still seems that way, that there was something for every single personality in the world.
My love for anime dwindled after a few years, and I started going for live action shows - JDramas. To this day, I enjoy watching them. Acting is always A+, always genuine, passionate, sincere. Plots vary from the profound to the mundane, but it is the collection of scenes, the way each scene expresses each characters' emotions impeccably, and the way each scene leads to a particular feeling for the viewer, that makes the shows memorable and fun to watch.
Of course, with my love for these Japanese shows, the obvious course of action for me was to make wallpapers, and to download other people's wallpapers so I can showcase them on my computer, and remember again the beauty and prowess of each show and actor I have watched. The wallpapers, in some way, represent my current emotion.
This is when the idea started brewing in my head. Looking for other people's wallpapers have been quite a challenge to me. I constantly have to go from URL to URL to get one or two wallpapers, and looking for wallpapers categorically has been difficult, if not impossible. This is why I decided to create a website where everyone can upload their wallpapers into. Wallpapers are categorized by anime, jdrama, video game, music group, and actor. It makes for easy searching and easy viewing. I simply call the site JWallpapers.NET:
http://jwallpapers.net/
I hope that pretty soon the site will be filled to the brim with lovely wallpapers so that all fans will need to remember only one site to get their daily dose of Japanese entertainment. This livejournal will serve as the spot where I can keep track of all the changes in that website I have just created. I hope you all can visit the site one of these days.
